Welcome to the Wildcats!

The 2009-10 season is almost upon us and the Wildcats have a great deal to look forward to.

The Tenth Anniversary Awards Dinner was a great success with close competition for the major prizes.

Over the summer the Club entered the Austrian Open Tournament in Vienna and enjoyed a great time playing teams from around Europe

The men's team got to the semi-final but lost to Latvian team, Riga, in a close game. The women's team did even better and made the Final against the Austrian National team. Despite having thrashed them in the round robin stages, the combination of too many late nights and a terrible first half, meant that the Austrians won the final game.

However, as always, the Wildcats had a great time and made lots of friends in a beautiful city!!

Megan Crisler stayed on for the summer to cover the increasing demand from schools for coaching, this was a great success and has created new opportunities for the Club. Thanks Megan. John and Darryl returned to the USA after an excellent year coaching the Club and developing the game in schools, many thanks to them also.
